Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Monday said that, counter terrorism operations have made Pakistan Army battle hardened, adding that “I am proud to be COAS of a brave and highly professional Army”, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.
He expressed the remarks while addressing soldiers and officers of the Multan Garrison during his visit to the city.

Army Chief appreciated troops participation from Multan Corps in ongoing counter-terrorism operations in FATA and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He directed the troops to keep themselves fully trained and prepared to counter the challenges of conventional war.
Earlier, the Army Chief laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada and offered fateha for the martyrs.
On arrival, he was briefed by the Corps Commander Multan Lt. General Sarfraz Sattar on operational preparations and administration of troops.
