MULTAN: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) ATR plane en-route to Karachi escaped disaster, Aaj News reported.
According to reports, one of the engine of PIA’s Karachi-bound flight caught fire soon after it left Multan airport.
However, Pilot of immediately landed the plane after informing control tower.
Reportedly, no one was injured in the incident.
Earlier on Wednesday, at least 47 people, including prominent Islamic figure Junaid Jamshed, were killed when a PIA flight crashed near Havelian, Abbottabad district.
