KHYBER AGENCY: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Wednesday has categorically rejected the presence of any terrorist network on Pakistani soil.
Nisar while addressing a news conference at Landi Kotal lauded the gains of Operation Zarb-e-Azb. He said that most of the terrorist enclaves have been eliminated and the remaining have gone across the border.
He praised the role of the security forces and tribal people in the elimination of terrorism.
Interior Minister pointed that, government is spending seventy billion rupees on the improvement of border management.
He also said that the new wings of FC have been raised and they will be deployed along Pakistan-Afghanistan border in July next year.
On this occasion he announced establishment of NADRA and visa offices at Torkham.
Nisar reiterated that peace in Pakistan is linked with peace in Afghanistan and Pakistan is ready to cooperate with Afghanistan on any level.
He rued the fact that Kabul is holding Pakistan responsible for its problems, which is incorrect.
Earlier, the Interior Minister also attended a briefing about law and order situation in Khyber Agency.
