Three terrorists killed in Rangers’ targeted action


KARACHI: Three suspected terrorists were killed on Wednesday night in an encounter with Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, in Manghopir area of the metropolis.

A Rangers soldier also sustained injuries in the intelligence- driven action at the hideouts of banned outfit’s criminals involved in terrorist activities, said a Rangers spokesman in a statement here.

He said the terrorists attempted to escape after resorting to firing, and in an exchange of fire three terrorists were killed and a Rangers soldier was injured. Arms and ammunition were recovered from the possession of the terrorists, he added. -AFP/APP
