Indian cease fire violation; Pakistan handed over dossier to UNMOGIP

Pakistan has handed over a dossier regarding the ceasefire violations committed  by India to United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan.

According to Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria, the detailed dossier was given to Representative of UNMOGIP at GHQ Rawalpindi today to highlight the martyrdom of four children by the Indian forces in Khuiratta Sector on Line of Control yesterday.

Pakistan has asked UNMOGIP to investigate the incident on the basis of the provided evidence.

Four children including three girls were martyred in unprovoked firing by the Indian forces in Singhala village of Khuiratta sub-sector along the Line of Control on Saturday.

According to ISPR, Pakistani troops befittingly responded against Indian aggression. Exchange of fire still continues.

Talking to Radio Pakistan Islamabad correspondent Sophia Siddiqui, Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria strongly condemned the unprovoked firing by Indian forces.

He expressed sympathies with the bereaved families and prayed for speedy recovery of the injured.
