LAHORE: National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said on Sunday that some people want to spread chaos on October 30 in Islamabad, but they would not succeed in their nefarious design.
Talking to media during his visit to review development work in Samanabad here, he said, “Imran Khan is going to London to fetch a lock for shutting down Islamabad.”
“A conspiracy was cooked up earlier in London as well,” he added.
Expressing his disappointment over not attending the joint session of the parliament by PTI members, he said the entire parliament was united on the subject of Indian aggression, except for one party.
Ayaz said that he was the elected Speaker of the house and not acknowledging him was synonymous to deny Pakistan’s Constitution.
The National Assembly Speaker mocked PTI’s ally Sheikh Rasheed, saying that a certain member of the assembly had got tired of giving dates, adding that now he should give date of his marriage.
He said that China-Pak Economic Corridor (CPEC) would bring prosperity in the country, adding that some elements wanted to fail it, but they would not be allowed to upset the development projects. -APP
