WEB DESK: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) on Friday announced to support Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in its sit-in against the government.
Chaudhry Shaujaat Hussain was once again elected as President of the party unopposed for four years, who, soon after his election, announced his party’s support to PTI against the government. Moreover, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi was elected as President of the party’s Punjab chapter.
Talking to media afterwards, Pervez Elahi said that the entire opposition should help PTI in its sit-in against the government.
He added that the people of Pakistan still remembered the 16 people who were martyred in Model Town. The former Deputy Prime Minister said that to save Pakistan and the army from present rulers all opposition parties should support Imran Khan.
Expressing gratitude to the General Council members, he said that Balochistan has always held flag of Pakistan and Muslim League high. Parvez Elahi said that Imran Khan was playing very important role and there was no invitation needed to join the PTI’s sit-in.
