NEW YORK: UN security council’s resolutions regarding Kashmir declared ‘fail’ by Pakistan’s permanent representative to United Nations Maleeha Lodhi today on Saturday, Aaj New reported.
As reported, while addressing to General Assembly’s Special Political and Decolonization Committee Lodhi said,”UN security council has been unsuccessful to implement resolutions that authorize self determination to people of Kashmiri for six decades”.
Lodhi further said,”Indian atrocities has increased in past months and numerous civilians have been injured and martyred”.
Earlier, Pakistan’s permanent representative to United Nations Maleeha Lodhi said Pakistan wants to solve all conflicts peacefully including Kashmir issue.
As reported, while addressing to UN’s General Assembly, Lodhi condemned on going Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir adding that Indian army is violating human rights in Kashmir.
Lodhi further said,”Indian atrocities must be investigated and Kashmir issue should be solved according to the will of citizens of Kashmir”.
“Current situation at Line of Control (LoC) is tensed as well and it is threatening for peace of entire region”, Lodhi further stated.
