ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday has said those trying to paralyze the country through their negative politics will miserably fail in their designs.
He said democracy gives the right to protest but it cannot be without limits.
PM Nawaz said the government is striving hard to overcome all challenges including terrorism and energy shortages.
He said economy has been strengthened as a result of effective policies.
He also said that the government is also working for development of Thar coal. Mining has started in Thar and coal based power plants are being installed there.
By 2018, more than ten thousand megawatt electricity will be added to the national grid, assures Premier of Pakistan.
He said land has been acquired for Diamer-Basha Dam by releasing one hundred billion rupees.
Referring to China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) PM Sharif said Balochistan will benefit the most from this forty six billion dollars project.
He said motorways and highways worth one thousand billion rupees are being constructed to provide communication facilities in the country.
He said social sector development and construction of hospitals in different cities will be carried out in the next eighteen months.
PM said the government will fully compensate farmers for the losses they have suffered due to low price of agri goods at the international market. He said subsidy is also being given for installation of solar tube wells in Balochistan.
PM Nawaz said Pakistan is committed to Kashmir cause. No power in the world can stop us from supporting the freedom struggle of Kashmiris.
He further said India is mistaken if it considers that a freedom fight can be equated with terrorism.
Burhan Wani was a freedom fighter and pride of Kashmiri people and nobody can deprive them of that pride, said PM Nawaz.
The meeting condemned the Indian brutalities on the innocent Kashmiri people.
Participants of the meeting said the Prime Minister in his address to the United Nations General Assembly represented the true aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
The meeting strongly condemned the Indian aggression along the Line of Control. It said the armed forces are full prepared to respond to any aggression. -RadioPakistan
