KARACHI: Unknown assailants opened fire in Nazimabad no.4 on Saturday out side a house, claiming the life of five people, Aaj News reported.
According to sources, five people were killed when unknown gunmen opened fire on a ‘majlis’ in front of a house at Nazimabad no.4 Karachi.
“Two attackers on a motorbike opened indiscriminate fire on the participants coming for the gathering,” Senior Police official Tayyab Muqaddas Haider said.
Security forces and medical teams reached the crime scene. Security forces cordoned off the area and start searching for evidence.
The injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has taken serious notice of the incident of killing.
He directed the Inspector General of Police and sought immediate detailed report regarding the incident.
