ISLAMABAD: The Corps Commanders Conference was held in Rawalpindi on Friday with Chief Of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif in the chair to review external and internal security situation.
The cadre rejected the Indian claim of surgical strike as it was used to the international community’s attention from the atrocities being committed by Indian forces in Occupied Kashmir.
COAS expressed complete satisfaction over the operational preparedness of the Army.
He reiterated that, the Army’s resolve to defend the motherland at every cost. He also said that, the successes of Operation Zarb-e-Azb will lead to progress and prosperity of the country.
The participants of the conference agreed to continue combing operations against terrorists and their facilitators across the country.
They also expressed concern over the fabricated news story about the national security meeting. They said the news story was against the national interest. -RadioPakistan
