WEB DESK: Azhar Ali successfully scored first triple century against West Indies in day and night test match and became 4th player who crossed 300 runs, Aaj News reported.
As reported, Ali’s exceptional performance left West Indies’s bowlers disappointed on second day of Dubai test as he performed well and successfully scored first triple hundred.
Earlier, on first day of test match, Ali turned his century into double and scored his career’s 4000 runs in his 50th match. However, he did not stopped there but hit 2 sixes, 32 fours and completed his career’s first triple hundred.
It is also first century that is being made in United Arab Emirates (UAE). After Hanif Muhammad, Inzamam ul Haque, and Younus Khan, Ali became 4th national and 25th international player.
