SIALKOT: Two people died while other eight other were injured by the unprovoked shelling by Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) in Chaprar, Harpal, Bajra Garhi, Bajwat and Charwah Sectors along the Working Boundary here Wednesday.
According to the spokesperson of the Punjab Rangers, the Indian BSF violating ceasefire opened unprovoked fire with small and heavy weapons targetting civilian population.
According to the senior officials of the Punjab Rangers, in Chaprar Sector, the villagers– Abdul Aziz (63) of Punwal, Ghulam Rasul (80) of Batian Kaman-Karloop, Mubarak Ali (50) of Singial, Ghulam Rasul (70) and Aleeza (11 years) of Karloop in Harpal sector were sitting in their homes, when several mortar shells fired by Indian BSF exploded injuring them seriously.
Inter Services Public Relations official twitter account stated that, two civilians embraced Shahadat in Chaprar Sector on working boundary due to Indian Unprovoked firing today.

The Rescue 1122 ambulances shifted these injured to CMH Sialkot.
The Punjab Rangers retaliated instantly and effectively, making the Indian BSF guns silent, the senior Punjab Rangers officials told here.
According to the affected people, dozens of the houses were badly damaged by the heavy mortar shells fired by the Indian BSF.
Unprovoked Indian shelling also killed several cattle in these villages. -APP
