Pakistan and China are Iron Brothers, says PM Nawaz


Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif held a meeting with his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang in New York on Wednesday and discussed matters of bilateral interest and regional situation.

PM Nawaz appraised Li Keqiang about the Indian forces atrocities in the Occupied Kashmir. He also welcomed China’s statement about the Indian forces brutalities in the Held Kashmir.

He also said that, Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. PM further said  that, a peaceful neighborhood is our vision as Pakistan is committed for peace and stability in the region.

PM Nawaz also expressed confidence on the pace of development in Pak-China relations.

Pakistan premier said that, Operation Zarb-e-Azb is underway successfully and achieving the desired targets as the nexus of terrorists have been broken.

While lauding Pakistan and China relationship, PM termed the relationship between the two countries as Iron Brothers. Adding to this, Pakistan-China relations have taken a new turn.

PM Nawaz also condoled with his Chinese counterpart over the loss of precious lives in the recent floods in China.

The Prime Minister thanked the Chinese Premier for understanding Pakistan’s stance in the Nuclear Suppliers Group.

Chinese PM Li Keqiang assured that,  China will stand besides Pakistan and will continue to raise its voice in Pakistan’s support at every forum.

PM Li also said that, we attach great importance to Pakistan’s position on Kashmir. He expressed that, he hope that there will be better understanding of Pakistani position on Kashmir by the international community.

Li Keqiang furhter said that, Pakistan itself is a victim of terrorism. He expressed that, China hopes that the situation between India and Pakistan will not escalate. Adding to this, China is ready to play constructive role in improvement of relations between Pakistan and India.

He extended his gratitude towards PM Nawaz for investing huge resources for the safety and security of Chinese personnel in Pakistan. He said that, the facilities provided at Gwadar will be enhanced.
