KARACHI: To search wanted suspects police allegedly raided the house of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Pakistan leader Khawaja Izhar ul Hassan on Friday, Aaj News reported.
According to the reports, plainclothes police personnel in five to six police mobiles came and raided Khawaja Izhar ul Hassan’s house when he was at Sindh Assembly. “Only women were present at home and they were harassed”, claimed Khawaja.
Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has summoned a report from IG Sindh regarding the raid. Meanwhile, he called for the immediate suspension of SHO Sohrab Goth for conducting the raid.
Meanwhile, SSP Malir, Rao Anwar confirm the raid news adding that the raid was carried out in Bufferzone area and his residence was not target The raid was actually carried out in search of wanted suspects.
