LAHORE: Lahore High Court allowed Pakistan Tehreek -i- Insaaf (PTI) to march towards Raiwand and to protest in front of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s residence today on Thursday, Aaj News reported.
According to the BBC sources, PTI has planned to protest on 30th September in Raiwand and a citizen Atif Sattar filed a complaint against it in Lahore High Court.
Justice Shahid Hameed Dar, Justice Anwar ul Haque, and Justice Qasim Khan saved the decision over the complaint which was announced on Thursday.
Court has summoned leader and applicant of PTI Waleed Iqbal to corporate with concerned authorities.
Lahore High Court has ordered concerned authorities to provide foolproof security to the protesters and do not harass and arrest them along with this, LHC asked to immediately arrest, whoever violate the rule. Also, court summoned protesters to protest peacefully.
It is pertinent to mention that Lahore police and concerned authorities have chalked a plan for PTI’s march and according to that plan, around 7,000 police personnel would be present on duty to provide security.
