QUETTA: At least 13 people have been reported injured in a roadside blast targeting a vehicle belonging to the Anti-Terrorism Force (ATF) at Quetta’s Zarghon Road on Thursday, Aaj News reported.
According to the reports, 13 people were injured a loud explosion in Quetta. The bomb was planted along the side of the road and exploded as the ATF’s vehicle passed by. A motorbike and two cars were damaged in the explosion. Windows of nearby buildings shattered due to the intensity of the blast.
Police and rescue services have reached the blast site. A suspicious bag was also found from the spot of the blast.
The injured are being shifted to a nearby hospital. Security forces cordoned off the area after the incident.
On Monday, at least 71 people were killed including Aaj News’ cameraman Shahzad Khan while more than 150 were injured in a suicide blast at the Quetta Civil Hospital.
The explosion took place when Balochistan Bar Association President Bilal Kasi’s body was being brought to the emergency department. He was gunned down at Mano Jan Road
