Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali on Thursday remarked that RAW and Taliban agents are being recruited in the guise of security guards.
Justice Jamali made these remarks while hearing a case pertaining to law and order in Karachi at Supreme Court Karachi registry.
Expressing dismay over the Quetta hospital carnage, the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) directed Sindh Inspector General (IG) to ensure special security arrangements at the hospitals and other facilities.
The Quetta tragedy occurred due to inadequate security arrangements, he said.
Justice Jamali further stated that RAW and Taliban agents are being recruited as security guards on fake CNICs.
It is police’s duty to keep an eye on security guards’ recruitments, he said adding that there will be no compromise on this matter.
Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Sindh Police and Chief Secretary briefed the apex court on the security situation.
Sindh IG told the court that the concerned authorities are reviewing the matter of security guards’ training. The case hearing was adjourned for a month. -INP
