WEB DESK: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar on Thursday called Sindh Rangers Director General (DG) Bilal Akbar and expressed reservations over deliberate hindrances created in Rangers’ authorities to achieve political goals.
During the discussion, Nisar directed DG Ranger to withdraw the paramilitary force personnel deployed on VIPs’ security. He praised Rangers saying that the force was playing an important role to ensure peace in Karachi, despite facing difficulties.
He assured Rangers DG that federal government will ensure Rangers’ presence in accordance with the constitution in order to provide security to the people of Sindh. The minister hoped that Sindh government would fulfil its responsibilities in this matter. He also said that he would call Sindh Chief Minister and try to address his concerns as well.
