ANKARA: Turkey’s first humanitarian aid ship reached at Israel’s sea port for Palestine today on Monday, Aaj news reported.
According to sources, after the flexibility between Israel and Turkey’s relationship, aid through ship is being sent for the first time. It is also first time that a Muslim country is allowed to send aid to Palestine.
The ship carries around ten thousand ton of humanitarian aid to be distributed among Palestinians, said sources.
It is pertinent to mention that Israel had attacked a aid ship in 2010 which ‘killed’ at least ten aid workers.
However, Israel is oblige to pay fine around two billion dollars over demise of ten aid workers according to current commitment between these two countries.
