ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Saturday directed the authorities concerned for taking all possible steps to help the stranded Pakistanis in Istanbul, Turkey.
The Prime Minister also directed the authorities for making all efforts to bring back those stranded in Istanbul and if required, the arrangements for special flights should be made, said a press release.
The Pakistan Embassy in Istanbul was also directed to adequately look after the expatriates. –APP
All Pakistani are safe in Turkey
ISLAMABAD: Spokesman to Pakistani High Commission in Turkey Abdul Akbar Saturday confirmed all Pakistani are safe and sound in Turkey and efforts were being made to rescue them.
The arrangements have been made to send stranded Pakistani from Istanbul airport via two flights to Islamabad and Karachi at today (Saturday) night, he said talking to a news channel.
He said some 200 Pakistani would travel to Pakistan from Turkey as Pakistani flights were rescheduled to facilitate the stranded Pakistani.
The spokesman said those persons tickets were canceled by Turkish authorities, now they would be accommodated on other flights. –APP
