Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will chair a parliamentary meeting of Sindh People’s Party on Wednesday to discuss the changes in the provincial government, PPP sources said.
Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah will submit his resignation to the Governor of Sindh on Tuesday, sources further said.
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) had decided yesterday to replace Syed Qaim Ali Shah as the Chief Minister of Sindh with senior provincial minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.
Sindh’s chief minister-designate Syed Murad Ali Shah will take oath of the office in the next week. Sindh Assembly session will likely to be summoned on July 29 to elect the new chief minister of the province, party sources said.
The decision to change the party veteran Syed Qaim Ali Shah was taken during a high-level meeting in Dubai which was attended by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and former President Asif Ali Zardari. -NNI
