Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday wondered as to why the paramilitary force launched actions in Larkana, saying that what happened all of a sudden that necessitated Rangers’ action in the city.
The PPP chief said this during a meeting with Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, who called on him at Bilawal House.
Bilawal had elaborate discussion with Sindh CM on several issues including extension in Rangers’ powers, political situation and law and order situation in the province.
The sources said that the PPP chief ordered the chief minister to resolve the issue regarding extension of Rangers’ special powers in accordance with the law and the Constitution.
Later, Sindh Home Minister Suhail Anwar Khan Siyal was summoned to join the meeting. On this occasion, Bilawal voiced concerns over latest developments in Larkana, saying that, “What happened that spurred Rangers’ action in Larkana?” -NNI
