Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Thursday accused Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif of covertly supporting the atrocities committed by Narendra Modi’s government in occupied Kashmir.
“Modi is that friend of Mian sahib whose government committed worst atrocities in occupied Jammu and Kashmir,” Bilawal said while addressing a PPP rally in Rawalakot.
“Mian sahib issued a condemnation statement four days after 35 innocent Kashmiris were brutally killed by Indian forces,” he said.
The PPP chairman said that if PML-N government managed to win upcoming elections for Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s legislative assembly, the message would go abroad that the people of Kashmir have endorsed “Sharif’s friendship with Modi”.
He called upon Britain and the United Nations to fulfil their promises they made during the partition time that a right to self determination would be given to the people of Kashmir.
Recounting the achievements of PPP government in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Bilawal said that there was only one university before the party’s government in the valley and now there are 6 universities.
Bilawal said that the Sharif brothers are not leaders but politicians who, he added, only protect their own interests. “The end of PML-N government in the government would begin from Rawalakot,” he added. -Business Recorder
