KARACHI: The Islamic month of Ramadan in Pakistan will commence on Tuesday.
This was announced by the chairman of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman after heading the committee meeting on Monday evening.
Ramadan moon sighting ends in controversy every year with several areas going against the official announcement but this time, the government made efforts so the whole country starts Islamic month Ramadan on the same day.
On the other hand, the government has also ordered to avoid power outage during Sehri and Iftar timings in Ramadan.
Meanwhile, the Muslims across the world have geared up preparations for the sacred month with the arrangements for special prayers.
