Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has called upon the politicians to solve their differences on the negotiation table instead of protests on the roads and sit ins.
Talking to newsmen here on Wednesday, the speaker said that the negotiations between the government and the opposition parties about the agreed terms of reference (TORs) have tumbled but have not gone out of control.
“The agitations and protests on the roads would lead to nowhere but irreparably damage the economy of the country,” Sardar Ayaz Sadiq warned.
The Speaker reiterated that there would be no change through National Assembly. Nawaz Sharif is the Prime Minister and would continue being PM of the country.
“The Election Commission of Pakistan will decide the opposition parties’ disqualification reference filed against PM but the govt is not afraid of these references, he emphasised. -Business Recorder
