PCB develops initial fitness report of Players

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board has prepared the fitness report of cricketers, Aaj News reported

The fitness test of central contract players was conducted in National Cricket Academy Lahore. As per report every player had to gain a maximum of 17 points to clear the test.

According to the reports, Fawad Alam and Muhammad Rizwan scored 20 points each, which made them the fittest players around.

Umar Akmal came short to the expected fitness level as he scored 16 points. Akmal was already dropped out of the team from tour of England because of his poor disciplinary behavior.

All rounder Shoaib Malik and fast bowler Wahab Riaz gain improvement in the test while ODI captain Azhar Ali and T20 captain Sarfarz Ahmed’s fitness were said to be average.

Saeed Ajmal,   Zulfiqar Babar and Sohaib Maqsood failed to complete the test because of earlier injuries.
