‘Govt’s job is to inquire’, Imran addresses NA

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf’s Chairman Imran Khan while addressing the National Assembly session on Panama Leaks said that Pakistan is a result of an ideology, Aaj News reported on Wednesday.

Khan while criticizing the government said that it is mandatory for government to answer to our questions. He said that Prime Minister of Pakistan compared his house in Bani Gala with a castle and asked about the source of income. Khan further added that, PM has full authority to inquire about Bani Gala house.

Chairman PTI requested the speaker of NA Ayyaz Sadiq to save democracy, as police and army do not save democratic system. He also said that strong democracy makes a strong country.

While talking about corruption Khan said, “I became a politician to eliminate corruption from our system”.

He also cleared that all the assets owned by him are registered on his name. While talking about his ex-wife Jemima, Khan said that she was accused of being a Jewish agent although she converted to Islam.

“Government is victimizing Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital because I m criticizing them, I challenge them to prove embezzlement in hospital’s account”, said PTI’s chief.

“Both plots of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital were given to me on two different occasions by Nawaz Sharif in 1987 and 1992”, Khan claimed.

While talking about his cricket career Khan told the session that, after12 years of cricket I bought a flat in England and was I ever been accused of match fixing? .

Khan while criticizing the daughter of PM said, “Maryam Nawaz was dependent of her father which automatically made him the owner of two companies that were run by her.”

International monitoring fund’s report claimed that no one is investing in Pakistan all because of corruption, it was also mentioned in report that whenever corruption is on loose, investors automatically invest in offshore companies.

ISLAMABAD:  Opposition leader from Pakistan People’s Party Khursheed Shah addresses the National Assembly session today and raised some questions against Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif, Aaj News reported on Wendnesday.

According to the reports, Shah said that Panama Leaks is related to PM that’s why opposition asked PM to address the problem in parliament as it is the only forum where this can be solved.

Shah said that Panama Leaks are related to PM of Pakistan. How come PM’s family manage to established a mill outside of the country when Iteefaq Foundry was nationalized in 1973, said Shah.

He also asked the children of PM to change their nationality if they are willing to do business and investment outside Pakistan.

While talking about tax Shah gave the example of Quaid e Azam, he said that father of the nation in 1939 paid 4490 in taxes while PM in 1992 paid only 2700 in taxes.

He further said that PM own 12 companies and in 23 years these companies only paid 10 billion rupees.
