Nab gets 14 days remand of Langove

QUETTA: An accountability court in Quetta granted on Thursday a 14 days remand of former finance advisor to the chief minister Mir Khalid Khan Langove to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) authorities.

The NAB (Balochistan) Wednesday arrested Langove in mega corruption case from outside of the Balochistan High Court (BHC) premises after the court rejected his pre-arrest bail application.

Earlier, the NAB had issued three summons to Langove, asking him to appear before the NAB officials for questioning in the Mushtaq Raisani case.

It may be mentioned here that the NAB Balochistan had recovered over Rs 650 million cash, foreign currency and gold from the house of suspended finance secretary Balochistan, Mushtaq Ahmed Raisani, which he allegedly embezzled from the official funds of Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) and Local Government Department during the period from 2013 to 2015.
