Enjoy sunlight to become thinner and fitter

It is a well known that sunlight is an infinite source of free Vitamin D, the golden rays improves your life making it healthier, happier and longer.

According to The Sun, latest research shows the sun rays can actually help us live longer and lose weight. Research published by the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm suggests that avoiding sunlight is as bad for you, as smoking.

“Non-smokers who avoided the sun had a life expectancy similar to smokers in the highest sun exposure group, indicating that avoiding the sun is a risk factor for death of a similar magnitude to smoking,” leader of the study Dr Pelle Lindqvist said.

As per Express, the study looked at 29,518 Swedish women, ranging from 25 -64 years old, in which there sunbathing habits were recorded. The study found that sunlight also reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases and cancer as well.

“Women with active sun exposure habits were mainly at a lower risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and noncancer/non-CVD death as compared to those who avoided sun exposure. As a result of their increased survival, the relative contribution of cancer death increased in these women.”

Experts advise that 20 to 30 minutes of exposure to full sun in the middle of the day is safe, then why waiting, enjoy this free gift by nature.
