For the weekends we plan to go out for the lunch or dinner or something like having junk food. Not in regard of food only, we all want to spend all day in bed or being lazy and sleepy.
Everyone has to follow a particular routine throughout the working days of the week. Studies have proved that people tend to consume more calories on weekends due to eating inappropriately and over eating.

1. Make a bag pack and go for track
You probably have think of doing exercise on weekends or plan to go for work out at gym, right? Studies have proved that in a study, participants walked the same one-mile course, but half were told it was exercise; the rest thought they were just listening to music. Afterward, the “exercisers” were more tired and took more sugary treats at lunch.
Instead of all this intense things, give a thought to fun aspects of it. On weekends engage yourself for other interesting sought of physical activities.
Do what makes you merry and joyous. Things that can connect you with the nature like gardening, playing with the children, go out for the cycling with your friends, listen to your favourite sound tracks and dance.
This will make a huge difference in your routine not in regard of your weight but also in boosting up your mood and make your mind fresh.
2. Do not put an Alarm
You must have known to the fact that sleep deprivation can cause you to gain more weight. Weekends are to get that little more sleep which you miss all the day at your work. 8 hours of sleep is important to function well.
So, on weekends never put on your alarm. Switch off your phones and make a comfy bed for yourself and sleep soundly.
3. Prepare healthy breakfast for yourself
We usually have same breakfast every day. On weekends you get the chance to prepare a good and healthy breakfast for yourself. Eating a healthy breakfast can alter the consumption of your all day calories. Having breakfast can also boost your metabolism thus help you in reducing weight.
Try to do some tricks with your breakfast and make it look special and creative. You can do simple things differently with your own creativity. Scoop out your creative skills and make yourself a good breakfast and feel special.
4. Healthy Bites
While enjoying a movie or gossiping with your friends, snacks are mendatory at weekends. You probably have snacks at your work, while doing your assignments or working on your computers.
Make the difference in that. At office desk we usually have unhealthy things to munch. Prepare healthy snacks bite for weekends.
You can use your favorite fruits and dry fruits. You can also experiment with the vegetable stuffed sandwich. Anything which you think sates you from the cravings of sodas or something unhealthy.
5. Ease your weekdays
Weekends gave you the opportunity to prepare for your work days and make them easier for you. You can plan your meals for all the week and can use it all the week to avoid having junk food or something unhealthy.
Chop veggies and cook whole grains in order to make grab and go meals for yourself.
6. Keep Yourself Hydrated
Water is a great source for reducing weight. When you keep yourself hydrated you tend to eat less and avoid having sodas or any other unhealthy drink.
In summers, it is really important to have loads of water. It is difficult to have water every time as it may bore you. You can add a slice of lemon in tour glass to make it taste different.
You can put a reminder to have a glass of water after every hour and then you became use to of it. Also keep your water bottle near you when you are at office desk.
