The three-member bench of the apex court headed by Justice Gulzar Ahmad and comprising Justice Dost Muhammad Khan and Justice Sardar Tariq Massod heard the case regarding opening of Axact offices and it’s accounts.
During the course of proceedings, Abid Zuberi counsel for the Axact company appeared before the bench and stated that the Sindh High Court conditionally allowed to open Axact offices. He said that the employees of Axact company could not go to their offices till now. He said that the SHC ordered to freeze the accounts.
He said that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had also picked the servers and record of the company. He said that FIA officials are still present in Axact offices.
The court issued notices and adjourned hearing of the case for two weeks.
Axact’s CEO Shoaib Ahmed Sheikh and other directors were booked by the FIA for their involvement in fake degree scam and money laundering charges.
