KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Thursday interrogated senior leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Abdul Qadir Patel for his alleged involvement in serious crimes in Karachi, Aaj News reported.
Patel was questioned at the Rangers Headquarters for almost five hours.
Sources claimed that after investigation the Rangers authorities taken him into custody. However there is no official confirmation of this development.
Rangers are expected to seek 90-day remand of the PPP leader from anti-terrorism court tomorrow.
Sindh Rangers had yesterday summoned Patel at Rangers Headquarters for investigation.
Patel had already ensured pre-arrest bail in different crimes after arriving in Pakistan from abroad.
