ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has urged the Saudi investors to invest in Pakistan, especially in energy, infrastructure, agriculture sectors and benefit from the high profit yielding business environment.
The President said this in a meeting with Saudi Parliamentary delegation led by Chairman of the Shura Council Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh in Islamabad on Tuesday.
He said that Pakistan investment policy has created an investment friendly environment by opening all sectors of economy for Foreign Direct Investment.
The President said that the relations between the two brotherly countries are deep rooted in common faith, culture, history and heritage.
He said that large Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia is playing an important role in the development and prosperity of both states.
The President expressed satisfaction on the level of defence cooperation between the two brotherly countries and offered the Muslim countries to avail training facilities at the Pakistan Defence institutions.
Talking to young parliamentarians in Islamabad today, President Mamnoon Hussain said the future of Pakistan is linked with democracy.
The president said owing to the prudent economic policies of the government the budgetary deficit has reduced from eight to 4.4 percent.
He urged the young parliamentarian to wage Jihad against corruption.
