ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said Iran had nothing to do with the activities of Indian intelligence network in Pakistan.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, he said Iran has always supported Pakistan in difficult time, and linking the arrest of the Indian spy with that country must be avoided.
The Minister said the recent visit of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to Pakistan was quite productive, but an impression is being created that Iran was involved in certain activities against Pakistan.
He said Pakistan and Iran can jointly bring stability to the region.
Chaudhry Nisar said Iranian Ambassador Mehdi Honardoost had assured that Iran will extend full cooperation on all issues that ensure security and development in the two countries.
