ISLAMABAD: Two civilians were killed and many others were injured in firing by Indian troops on a peaceful protest demonstration in Handwara town, Indian Held Kashmir (IHK) on Tuesday.
The youth were killed after Indian troops opened indiscriminate fires on people protesting against the molestation of a girl by the troops in Handwara area, KMS reported.
The deceased were identified as Mohammad Iqbal and Nayeem Qadir Butt.
The protesters also waved Pakistani flags in the town.
The Hurriyet leaders have given call for the protest strike against the killing of young boys and continued Indian state terrorism in the territory.
