ISLAMABAD: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has expressed serious concern over notorious Indian secret agency, RAW’s involvement in terrorist activities in Pakistan.
The APHC, which is a forum of twenty-four pro-freedom organizations and is led by Syed Ali Gilani, in a statement issued in Srinagar said that India was targeting Pakistan as the country supported the right of self-determination of the Kashmiri people and opposed India’s illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir, KMS reported.
It said that the arrest of RAW agent, Kulbhushan Yadav, in Balochistan had proved the fact that India was involved in the terrorist activities in Pakistan to destabilize the country.
He said that India was also killing innocent people in occupied Kashmir.
He said that the aim of the Indian terrorist activities was to put pressure on Pakistan to withdraw its support to the Kashmiris’ liberation struggle.
The APHC said that Pakistan should strongly raise the issue at highest level and must expose India before the world with proofs and evidences.
The statement said that India was playing double game with its neighbours. He deplored that on one hand, Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi reached Lahore for a cup of tea to show to the world that India wanted good relations with Pakistan and, on the other, left no stone unturned to harm it and the red-handed arrest of the Indian Navy officer and RAW agent, Kulbhushan Yadav, was its proof.
It said that the people of Kashmir had been struggling for securing their right to self-determination for last several decades, adding that thsir movement was indigenous one and had nothing to do with terrorism.
He said that the international community had recognized Kashmir as a disputed territory which had been pending with the UN since 1947.
The APHC appealed to the UN to take notice of India’s cross-border terrorism and use its good offices to reign in the aggressive policies of New Delhi.
