DEHLI: Various states of India are experiencing extreme heat waves, rocketing death toll to 130. Telangana has announced early vacations due to extreme weather.
In Hyderabad, the record for 43 years broke as the temperature rose to 43 degrees. The middle and eastern regions of the country are experiencing the highest temperatures which include, Andhrapradesh, Marwara and Karnataka.
66 are reported dead in Telangana, whereas the total death toll has reached 130, where many cases went unreported in rural areas.
Telangana cities, Hyderabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar and various others have the highest temperatures where as in Hyderabad 43 years of record broke as the highest temperature was recorded with 43 degrees, while in some areas 46 degrees has also been reported.
Due to heat stroke looming over, the schools in Telangana granted an early vacation in the state and all the other regions are in high alert. The authorities are advised to take possible measures rapidly.
In 2015, after India, Karachi also experienced a severe heat stroke that reached the death toll over 2000.
