WEB DESK: The Constitution Day in connection with the Pakistan’s 1973 constitution is being observed today across country.
The constitution is the supreme law of Pakistan. It was approved by the National Assembly on April 10, in 1973. It was given presidential approval on 12 August and unanimously ratified on 14 August 1973.
The 1973 constitution has 280 articles and in all 22 amendments have been made to it so far.
The constitution is intended to guide Pakistan’s law and its political culture, and system. All the government buildings are lit today with lamps.
