KARACHI: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), has claimed that five person of a family killed in an accident were the activists of PPP.
Bilawal expressed deep grief and sorrow over the deaths of PPP workers in road accident near Qazi Ahmed when they were on their way to Garhi Khuda Bux to participate in martyrdom anniversary programme of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on Monday, said Bilawal House Media Cell statement issued here.
The statement added that PPP workers from Luqman village of Thatta including elected Union Council Chairman Buhara Abdul Latif Soomro, workers Haji Morio Soomro, Abu Bakr Soomro, Abdul Rehman Tunio, and Porho Khan of Thatta were heading towards Larkana when their car met an accident near Qazi Ahmed and fell into a water canal resulting in killing of five workers.
The statement pointed out that tens of thousands of PPP workers and supporters visit the mausoleum of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on his martyrdom anniversaries covering long distances due to their commitment and conviction to Bhuttoism.
“Hearing the sad news about the deaths of workers is painful and my thoughts and prayers go out for them,” Bilawal Bhutto added.
PPP Chairman expressed sympathy with the families of the victims and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage and fortitude to the members of bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.
