QUETTA: The security forces have on Friday foiled the bid of smuggling of ammunition and weapons from Afghanistan into Pakistan in Balochistan.
Intelligence agencies and Frontier Corps intercepted the terrorists near Noshki and forced them to leave their ammunition laden vehicles to flee back across border. Many terrorists were injured, while a large number of ammunition were seized. The ammunition include mortar bombs, anti-aircraft missiles, grenades and local bombs.
Home Minister Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti said Afghan intelligence agency NDS was carrying terrorist activities with Indian intelligence agency RAW in Pakistan. He demanded that the Afghanistan government should stop terrorism activities in Pakistan, or relations between both the countries would be spoiled.
Separately, the security forces also destroyed Baloch Liberation Army’s training camp and recovered a large number of ammunition.
