Waqar Younis apologised for team’s poor performance

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Team coach Waqar Younis apologized for team’s poor performance in India during World T20 2016 in a press conference at Gaddafi Stadium on Tuesday.

He added that to improve cricket in the country, it will require the board to address root causes. “No cosmetic surgery will make things better, to improve cricket we need to look deeply into problems,” Younis said.

He vowed to bring matters in front of investigative committee with full honesty. He emphasized that now is the time to make amends and he is ready to give resignation, if needed.
