South Africa opt to bat first against Afghanistan


WEB DESK: South Africa won the toss and opted to bat against Afghanistan in Super 10 stage of the world Twenty20 at Mumbai.

It is must win for both the teams to keep themselves alive in the tournament after Afghanistan and South Africa lost their first match against Sri Lanka and England respectively.

While earlier South Africa was considered as a hot favorite team of the tournament before defeat against England. Still there is no comparison between South Africa and Afghanistan. Proteas are well poised side in all departments.
But in Twenty20 format as we have seen many times underdogs of the tournament defeated favorite team of the tournament.
