Shujaat plays important roles in Pak-China friendship: li jun

ISLAMABAD: Chinese Vice-Minister Wednesday said that on Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain had played an important role in Pak-China friendship and CPEC.

People of both the countries would directly get benefits from the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), he said while heading a delegation of office-bearers of International Department of Communist Party of China Central Committee (IDCPC) which called on Chaudhry Shujaat here, said a press release.

During the meeting, PML-Q Secretary General and Chairman Parliamentary Committee for China Pakistan Economic Cooridor (CPEC) Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, former Secretary General Foreign Affairs Akram Zaki, Samina Khawar Hayat and other party leaders were also present whereas the delegation included three directors, secretary, staff member, Chinese Embassy’s DCM Zhao Lijian and Second Secretary Mei Jing.

Li Jun said that Shujaat Hussain was always endeavouring for Pak-China economic relations and his efforts regarding CPEC were very laudable.

Welcoming the delegation, Shujaat said Pak-China hade always been quite friendly as roots of their friendship were in the hearts of their people.

People of Pakistan, he said, considered China as their brother country. Present Chinese Ambassador was well-known in Pakistan, who had further promoted and strengthened the friendship between the two countries, he added.

Li Jun said the Chinese people regarded Pakistan as their best friend and deeply loved people of Pakistan from their hearts.
