According to the reports, the Indian captives were brought to Lahore from Karachi via train. From there, they were sent to Wagah border.
On reaching Lahore Railway station, the captives said that they were treated humanely in Pakistan’s jails.
They went on to say that they will request Indian government to release Pakistani prisoners as early as possible. The released fishermen seemed to be happy.
In a goodwill gesture, Pakistan on Sunday released 87 Indian fishermen arrested for allegedly violating its territorial waters.
