PPP struggling for rights of poor: Bilawal

SADIQABAD: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday said that the party was struggling for rights of the poor.

“Founder of the party Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto worked for distribution of wealth, land and resources on equitable basis,” he said while addressing a public meeting in Sadiqabad.

Bilawal Bhutto called for more attention on issues directly impacting on the common man including health, education and agriculture.

He also reiterated the commitment of the party for equal rights to all religious minority communities as protected in the constitution of Pakistan and assured by Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah in his ideology.

The PPP chairman said that his party would continue the mission of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto for the protection and promotion of the rights of minorities.

Bilawal Bhutto said PPP workers would join the Easter festivities in their neighborhoods all over the country.
