Pakistan Women beat India by 2 runs (D/L)


WEB DESK: Pakistan Women Team beat India by 2 runs according to Duckworth-Lewis method in the World Cup Twenty20 match at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium on Saturday.

The rain did not stop within given time for the match then jury decided Pakistan as a winner by 2 runs according to Duckworth-Lewis system.

Earlier, Pakistan skipper Sana Mir won the toss and elected to bowl first.

While batting at first, no Indian player played big innings only middle order batsmen Krishnamurthy played some good cricket and scored 24 runs off 19 balls. Anam Amin showed her brilliant bowling skills and  took 1 wicket and gave only 9 runs in 4 overs.

In reply, Pakistani opener Sidra Ameen played some responsible innings and scored 26 runs off 26 balls.

Anam Amin was awarded man of the match for her good bowling performance while talking to presentation ceremony she said, “The only plan I had was bowl as many dot balls as possible.”
