Pakistan Universities ranked in the top 800 Varsities: QS Survey

NEWS DESK: With education a necessary aspect in anyone’s life, it is imperative that the institutes are just as good. According to a QS survey recently conducted of the top 800 universities in the world, Pakistan holds six places with the rankings. 

The Pakistani varsities that made it to the QS World University Rankings 2015-2016 include the National University of Sciences And Technology (Nust) Islamabad, Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, University of Karachi (KU) and the University of Lahore. Nust was also ranked separately at 340 in the ‘Engineering and Technology’ category.

Ranking of Pakistani varsities

  • Nust Islamabad: 501-550
  • QAU: 651-700
  • Lums: 701+
  • UET Lahore: 701+
  • KU: 701+
  • University of Lahore: 701+

With NUST ranked in the top 500 to 550 top universities, Quaid e Azam university between 651 to 700 in between and LUMS ranked third with 700 above universities, three other universities also rank in in the 701+ category.
