Pakistan put up 119 target against India

WEB DESK: Pakistan culminated their batting innings on 119 for five wickets against India in Super 10 ICC World Cup Twenty20 round match at Kolkata on Saturday.

Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bowl first. While batting at first Green Shirts took slow start and scored only 24 runs in power play.

Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi promoted his batting order upward but he could not promote his score. Shahid Afridi scored only 8 runs.

No Pakistani played big innings while Umar Akmal and Shoaib Malik geared up Pakistan’s Innings in the middle order and scored 41 runs together.

Ravinder Jadeja and Ashish Nehra both gave 20 runs took 1 wicket each.
