ISLAMABAD: As part of preparations for Pakistan Day Parade, a full dress rehearsal is in progress at the Parade Venue due to which cellular services were suspended in the capital, Aaj News reported.
According to the reports, mobile phone services have been suspended in Islamabad due to a full dress rehearsal which is in progress as part of Pakistan Day Parade’s preparation.
Mobile phone networks went offline early morning and will be restored by noon 3 pm, according to reports.
Stringent security measures are in place in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi to avoid any untoward incident on the National Day, March 23.
Special traffic arrangements have also been made to facilitate the citizens on the parade day.
According to the Interior Minister and Ministry of Telecommunication, it is expected that cellular service will remain suspended in the twin cities on Pakistan Day.
